BAZAR MARRAKECH LA ROUGE - Tanger

My husband and I purchased what is called a Carved Hand Made Original Moroccan Chest. We purchased the chest on June 30, 2014 with a PROMISE that it would be delivered to us in 4 weeks at NO EXTRA cost. DHL attempted to deliver the chest on August 19 but wanted 115euros (mind you we were told NOT to pay) I refused delivery and immediately called the store. Once again, I was told it would be delivered and not to pay. The chest arrived on Aug. 26th from an unknown carrier. I wanted to remove the wrapping in front of the driver, but he would not allow it (I do not speak German) and he was yelling at me ..so against my gut feeling I signed. Upon unwrapping it was discovered that the chest was DAMAGED...2 legs broken off and the hand carved latch was broken. I wrote to Marrakech La Rouge and called with a promise for a return phone call. This has been a horrible experience and I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND purchasing from this company.
